Roadmap
Abyss: New Dawn – Roadmap Toward Version 1.0
As we move closer to the full 1.0 release of Abyss: New Dawn , we want to clearly share our current development focus and priorities.
Our goal for 1.0 is not to endlessly expand, but to deliver a complete, stable, and meaningful experience for those who choose to stay in the world of Abyss.
Phase 1 – Stability & Core Polish
Fix high-priority bugs reported during Early Access
Improve performance, loading times, and overall stability
Polish core systems such as crafting, inventory, and progression
Rebalance early-game pacing to make the experience smoother and more approachable
Goal: A stable and frustration-free foundation.
Phase 2 – World & Progression Refinement
Clarify the core gameplay loop: survive → build → expand
Reduce unnecessary grind and improve progression flow
Enhance environmental storytelling and quest pacing
Goal: Help players better understand what they are building toward, and why the world matters.
Phase 3 – Content Completion for 1.0
Complete the planned core content for the 1.0 experience
Refine and streamline existing systems
Avoid adding large new features outside the original vision
Goal: A cohesive and finished experience, not an unfinished sandbox.
Phase 4 – Quality of Life & Community Feedback
Quality-of-life improvements based on player feedback
UI/UX and readability enhancements
Smaller but consistent updates focused on real play experience
Goal: Support and respect the players who continue the journey with us.
Important Note
This roadmap reflects our current development direction toward version 1.0.
Details may change as we continue refining the game based on player feedback and testing.
Thank you to everyone who has supported Abyss: New Dawn and helped shape its future.

About the Game
"The Abyss was not meant to exist. Something ancient still sleeps beneath its deepest layer." - Unnamed Explorer.
Descend into the Abyss...
You were told to hunt them down. But the deeper you go... the more you wonder who the real enemy is.
A Living World, Split by the Abyss
Six fractured realms stacked beneath each other - each with its own rules
Glide, teleport, leap - the world rewards those who explore
Some paths aren't on any map. Find them anyway.
The Things That Hunt You Back
Every realm has its own apex predator - and they remember you
Some are corrupted. Some are ancient. Some are both.
A few can be avoided. Most cannot.
You Can't Fight What You're Not Prepared For
Resources run out. Enemies don't.
Mine deeper. Craft smarter. Descend further.
The Abyss doesn't wait for you to be ready.
Build Something Worth Coming Back To
Craft gear, cook meals, forge weapons
Decorate your own space between descents
Your shelter is the only safe place left
Not Everything Down Here Wants to Kill You
Farm. Fish. Breathe.
Peaceful moments exist - right before the next world tries to end you.
Tame Beasts. Ride Legends.
Some creatures can be tamed - if you're patient enough
Mounts don't just carry you. They change how you move through the world.
A T-Rex at your side hits different.
Your Abyss. Your Rules.
Customize your character before the descent
No two playthroughs look the same
