Video game deals

Tons of games are on sale right now, so a great place to start is our breakdown of all the best game deals. I like to filter by store if I'm trying to fill out my cart or find little hidden gems.

Nintendo's Cyber Sale is live, with over 2000 games discounted on the eShop.

Steam's Autumn Sale is also in full swing if you're looking for some PC games.

Beyond just games, here's a handful of my favorite finds:

Nintendo Switch Mario Kart 8 Deluxe Bundle
Price: $299

It wouldn't be Black Friday without Nintendo's Mario Kart 8 Deluxe bundle, but don't forget about the Special Edition Nintendo Switch OLED bundles like Tears of the Kingdom, Pokémon Scarlet & Violet, and Splatoon 3

Super Smash Bros. Ultimate Nintendo Switch OLED Bundle
Price: $349 (you get Smash Bros. Ultimate and 3 months of Nintendo Switch Online for free)

This is a special Black Friday bundle that we've never seen before. The Dock doesn't have a design on it like the original bundle did, but you get Smash Bros. Ultimate and 3 months of NSO for free

Nintendo Switch Lite Animal Crossing: New Horizons Bundles
Price: $199

These console bundles include a special edition Nintendo Switch Lite not available elsewhere, as well as a digital download code for Animal Crossing: New Horizons

Sony PlayStation 5 + Marvel's Spider-Man 2 Game Bundle
Price: $499 ($70 savings over buying them separately)

Basically getting a great game for free. Hard to beat, especially considering we aren't yet seeing regular discounts on the PlayStation 5 console.

WD_BLACK 1TB SN850X NVMe
Price:
$84.99 (regularly $129.99)

Cheapest and most reliable way to upgrade PS5 storage is by slapping one of these in there. Available from:
> Best Buy
> Amazon
> Walmart
> Newegg

Tech, TVs, and Apple

2023 was a great, almost overwhelming year for gadgets. Highlights for me include Apple's insanely powerful MacBook Air M2, the smaller and more powerful Anker GaN series chargers, and the new Bose QuietComfort Ultra noise cancelling headphones. Look for discounts on late-2022 and early-2023 tech during this year's Black Friday sales:

LG C3 Series OLED TV
Price:
65" for $1599 (regularly $2099)

My favorite TV ever. I've had my LG CX for years and have never experienced burn-in of any kind. Most retailers should this on sale right now:
> Best Buy
> Amazon
> Direct from LG
> Walmart

Apple MacBook Air M2
Price:
$899 (regularly $1099)

Pick up an M2 MacBook Air for a couple hundred bucks off MSRP at Best Buy (My Best Buy Total members get free Apple Care+) and Amazon. I recommend picking up a model with more than 8GB of memory, but how much you need will depend on what sort of work you plan on doing on the machine

Samsung 65-Inch S90C OLED 4K TV
Price:
$1599 (regularly $2599)

This is one of Samsung's best TVs and features a 120Hz HDR OLED screen. This special Black Friday pricing is available from:
> Best Buy
> Amazon
> Direct from Samsung
> Walmart

GoPro HERO12 Black Bundle
Price: $349 (regularly $449)

This bundle at Best Buy includes the GoPro HERO12 Black, The Handler (Floating Hand Grip), Head Strap 2.0, an extra Enduro battery, and a case.

Flash sales on tech – Both Walmart and Amazon are running constant flash sales on tech. Check back often at both retailers

Toys

Best Buy is going hard on toy sales this year, but make sure to compare prices at other retailers like Amazon, Walmart, and Target

LEGO Star Wars The Razor Crest
Price: $569 (regularly $599)

I didn't love The Mandalorian but this set is really cool! Amazon still has it in stock with a nice discount

Save up to 40% on select Plush at Best Buy – Club Mochhi Mocchi brand plush are where it's at. I refuse to buy any other brand (except maybe Squishmallow)

Save up to 30% on select Trading Card Games at Best Buy – This sale includes discounts on Pokémon, Magic the Gathering, and Yu-Gi-Oh! (see individual links below)

Save up to 20% on Squishmallow at Best Buy – If I had more room in my home I might own too many of these to be honest

Tips for scoring the best deals

  1. Shop member sales early. Take advantage of the membership you pay for by securing what you want early. Check sale pages for Best Buy Total/Plus, Walmart+, Amazon Prime, and GameStop Pro.
  2. Compare prices. Checking a game's price history is a great way to tell if the deal you're getting is really a deal. Search for any Nintendo Switch, Xbox, or PS4/PS5 game on DekuDeals.
  3. Clip coupons on Amazon. Many items have coupons that must be clipped from the item page for extra savings at checkout. There's also a page on Amazon which displays all available coupons.
  4. Create a wishlist. Having a wishlist on Deku Deals means you'll get notified when a game goes on sale. Is your wishlist up-to-date?
  5. Lean on the community for advice. Our Discord is full of like-minded deal hunters, always willing to share their experience with a game or piece of tech. Join us over there!

That's it for now. Join us in Discord if you want to chat deals, and make sure to follow Nintendeal on Twitter for up-to-the-minute finds!
